Our center has 3 components…

• Consultation
• ADOS Testing - The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS)
• Autism treatment for children between 15 months and 5 years of age

We are one of the few centers in Northern California to offer analysis and treatment of 15 month to 5 year old children.

We are capable of collaborating with a broad array of Statewide and community programs.

We have a variety of menus to choose from so your child receives optimal and individualized treatment. The P.L.A.Y. Project™ (Play & Language for Autistic Youngsters), is a national recognized program based on the DIR Theory of Stanley Greenspan, M.D. This teaches parents play-based, intensive intervention techniques that are very effective to helping young children 15-36 months with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) gain language and social skills (www.playproject.org).

Dr. Barbara Snyder formed the first P.L.A.Y. Project™ in Northern California. She has studied autism in children for the past 5 years. Her dissertation compares different models of treatment and she believes the key to the cure is early intervention. "The earlier we treat autism, the better the outcome.
